Applying antibiotic creams for a few days usually will get rid of it, but it keeps recurring. How do you stop it from recurring? How do you stop infections from ingrown toe nails?
Hi freedom...no fun to have problems like this...I have found a listing of sites for you. Consider my suggestion to see a Podiatrist. Also here is some of the info I found on a site regarding general health care for the feet. One site lists places in the world to find those who practise...see Canada!

Soak your foot in a bucket of hot salt water for about 20 minutes.
Go barefoot for a few hours. Put a dab of triple antibiotic ointment in the center (gauze) of a band aid and apply it to the infected area.
That'll do it!
I would say soak it in water as hot as you can stand with Epsom salts in it.Repeat daily til it is cleared up.The infection is deep so if this doesn't work you should see your Dr.
